It should work fine on W7 32-bit. Best to try the most recent trail version which has a fresh 14 day trial period.

The license allows you to run the software simultaneously on your two different laptops, using the same ControlMyNikon product key, without problem. So, no need to purchase two copies.

ControlMyNIkon doesn't have an astrophotography mode like the software you mentioned.

It looks like this is a bug where it is saving mp4's, but saving it with a .mov extension. We'll get that fixed in a future release.

Not sure if the .mov still has a 30 min duration limit (Nikon-Apple licensing thing, I think).

This is not possible because Nikon has not released a SDK for the P1000.

This is caused by the body orientation sensor having problems in full vertical orientation. The only workaround is to disable the the live view auto-rotate in the body lcd menu, or shim the copystand a bit so it is not perfectly vertical.

This may be supported in a future version. For the current version, you can select a white balance, and customize a white balance using a grey card. All other ways to set white balance must be done on the body.

Not sure if those devices meet the full HID joystick spec. Do they respond properly in the Windows settings joystick applet? They could be reporting under the HID multimedia controller spec with a some joystick HID logic to handle the buttons.

Not sure what is causing this. If you set the mode to M on the camera body, then connect with ControlMyNikon, are they both still greyed out? We'll take a look at this for the upcoming version.

Z9 support will be in the next version of ControlMyNikon, which is a complete rewrite. Nikon released the most recent SDK, which includes the new Z9, to require a 64-bit app. ControlMyNikon is 32-bit, thus requiring the rewrite. *Should* be available in 2023.

I'm going to add this excellent suggestion to the list of things to look at for the next version of ControlMyNikon. Sounds like it would make a great workflow.

Changing the profile with a button press of voice command would be the only way to do this. What kind of crash are you getting when you switch profiles?

Yes indeed, right-clicking on the output joystick axis will show commands to initiate voice binding. The help file/vids are getting to be pretty out of date. We'll have a new version out later this year and try to make this easier.

No. CMJ can only use the spacemouse to emulate a joystick, not the other way around.
