Hello,
we just got a new high resolution monitor, but ControlMyNikon (version 5.6.94.50) basically no longer works on the 3840 x 2160 display.
Here is what the main program window looks like:
Trying to work with two monitors and using detached LiveView is even worse:
Any advice ???
Also, in GPU mode the brightness slider do not work (unlike ISO pinning, when GBU mode is disabled). Using a D810 on Windows 10.
Thank you,
Frank

Re: anyone having problems with high res displays?
Hi Frank,
I just wanted to add to this thread your solution for this problem that you mentioned in a subsequent tech support email.
"The PC that has the scaling problem and the newer version (5.6.94.50) has two screens, only one of them is the high resolution display.
Under "Program Properties - Compatibility - Change high DPI setting" I can check "override high DPI setting - scaling performed by - application".
If I check this, then the program behaves "normally", i.e., exactly the same as version 5.5.78.90 on the computer that has only one 3840 x 2160 screen. No clipping away the frame of the program window."
