New User Questions - Two Laptops

I used the trial on a W7 laptop in 2017 but did not get a key. Now am interested in purchasing to be used on the W7 laptop AND a W10 laptop simultaneously for the 2024 eclipse. I'll be controlling a D7500 & a D700. Can it be used this way? On two machines at the same time? Do I need to purchase 2 copies? Will this software do what Eclipse Orchestrator and Backyard Nikon do? Example - control the shutter speed over a range for the period of totality?

The license allows you to run the software simultaneously on your two different laptops, using the same ControlMyNikon product key, without problem. So, no need to purchase two copies.

ControlMyNIkon doesn't have an astrophotography mode like the software you mentioned.
