There seems to be a significant delay when using the focus stacking workflow between each capture. Nikon D850 set on silent mode. No mirror, no mechanical shutter. This has been the fastest so far but still significant time between capture. I have set the time delay option to the minimal 50 microseconds...but that does not seem to help either. 200mm Nikor micro f4. my computer is a Dell XPS with i7 processor and 16 GB ram. I know the camera itself as a focus stacking option that allows a much faster capture rate. Unfortunately, the 200mm lens is not compatible.

I appreciate any thoughts on this.
