Exposure

Hi I have just purchased his application and am unable to find info on exposure and settings for exposure, do th app settings overide camera settings, do Auto Shutter priority and apperture priority functions on camera work? there is no auto setting in the app or ISO or Exposure.

Please help

Also its not clear if when using burst mode and movement combined you have to set burst in the movement panel actions or only on burst panel?

Hi David,

When you connect to the camera in CMN, CMN will apply the current profile and adjust the settings. If you then adjust a setting like shutter speed, it will change it on the camera as well. If you want to keep that setting in the profile for later use, you can save the profile.

If I recall correctly from using this with hummingbirds at a feeder, you set the motion detection trigger to capture a single image to make sure it it set ok. Then to use burst, use the burst action. You'll need to enable burst in the burst workflow first, along with the number of images to capture. Be sure to set the motion detector workflow to pause until a burst and file transfer is complete (may take 30 seconds).
