I get this error. Microphone is available to desktop programs and speech recognition is enabled.

"VOICE> Error:Unable to initialize speech recognition. Please ensure that this program has permission to use the microphone, and that speech recognition has been set up in the Windows Control Panel."

What could cause this?

In Windows 10, search for 'microphone' and on the left side of the screen go to app permissions/microphone. You'll need to specify that ControlMyJoystick can have access to the microphone.

I've set up the speech recognition with Windows 7 and using Canon EOS 600D. When the speech recognition applet is on, it recognizes the commands (it highlights the command in ControlMyCanon screen) but doesn't do anything. What could be the problem?
