I prefer to run video in manual focus on my Z7. In some cases, it is essential for me to do that (long story). If I set the lens switch to manual focus I can't record with ControlMyNikon. I can get around it by starting recording in auto focus then click the switch to manual, in which recording continues without any problems.

Is there a way I can start recording with ControlMyNikon while the lens is set to manual focus?
