Can I use older, legacy input devices?

Post by DevRuss »

This is a fairly frequent question from our users. CMJ can only accept input from DxWare controllers that are supported by the most recent DxWare 10 drivers supplied by 3dconnexion. So if the legacy 3dconnexion device doesn't work in DxWare, it won't work in CMJ. We don't have any plans to change this in the future.

As of 5.1.47.11, CMJ can support HID Joystick device input. This covers most USB joysticks and also some custom hardware where someone has written a HID driver for it.
